Have your Windows 98 CD-ROM or Diskettes available.

 • Click on the Start Menu
 • Click Programs
 • Click Internet Explorer (folder)
 • Click Connection Wizard

The next screen will usually be a simple introduction to the Setup Wizard.
 • Choose Next

The next screen gives you three choices on how you would like to connect to the Internet:
1) I want to choose an Internet Service Provider and set up a new Internet account.
2) I want to set up a new connection on this computer to my existing Internet account using my phone line or local area network (LAN).
3) I already have an Internet Connection set-up on this computer and I do not want to change it.
 • Choose 2 (New connection to my existing Internet service), then click next.

You then have 2 choices:
 • Connect using my phone line
 • Connect using a local area network (LAN)
 • Choose Phone Line, then click next.

I will then ask you if you want to configure an existing account or create a new one.
 • Choose "Create New Account".

It will ask you to type in the phone number you wish to dial into:
 • 702-638-5465
or
 • 702-638-5465 (ISDN)

Make sure the box entitled "Use area code when dialing number" is NOT checked then click next.
It will then ask you to name the connection with a friendly name, usually "Net Nevada". Then click next.

Set Up your Internet Mail Account

It will then ask you if you want to set-up an Internet Mail Account.
The answer is:
 • Yes, then click next.

You are then offered 2 options:
 • Create a new Internet Mail account.
 • Use an existing Internet Mail account.
The answer will be:
 • Create a new Internet Mail account

The first question is "Display Name"?
 • This is where they would put their Real Name, then click next.

Next is e-mail address.
 • Enter your e-mail address.

Next you are given the choice of POP3 or IMAP type server.
 • Choose POP3

Enter your incoming mail server as:
 • mail.yourdomain.net*

Enter your outgoing mail server as:
 • smtp.yourdomain.net*
Then click next.

For "Internet Mail Logon":
 • Logon using POP Account Name
 • Enter the first part of your e-mail address (before the @ symbol), then click next.

Choose a friendly name for this account, the default is:
 • mail.yourdomain.net*
This is normally fine.
